Attracting Abundance ~ My 1957 Jaguar XK140

Posted in Attracting Abundance

Another post in our Attracting Abundance series, and very exciting for me personally. You may even think for a minute that this is self-serving post, but let me show you how it links up some very cool ideas. Maybe you can apply this kind of thinking to your own life and see how you can connect your dots, and make a bunch of people’s lives better at the same time as your own. I am grateful that this link-up has occurred to me, and I am anxious to see how I can apply it to ANY kind of art, including music.

One of the things I fantasize about and am expect to manifest, is a particular car. It’s a
1957 Jaguar XK140 convertible.

2 years ago, I actually wanted a 1960 model (see my original post), just because that was the year I was born, but these others just seem to have a bit more style that resonates with me. I’ve even written about this car a second time on this very blog, How Fast are you Willing to Go?

Imagine my ecstatic surprise when

I was reading my Facebook news last week and this wonderful picture of a painting showed up. It was done by a Facebook acquaintance I have, Miesje Mesha. She made a series of beautiful paintings of the grills of some fabulous cars, after going to a car show here in Vancouver. She says the grills have the most personality. And of course that also means one of these babies is here in my city. I now expect to see the real thing!

The other piece of FABULOUS news is that she’s landed a venue to showcase these awesome pieces. Miesje wants everyone to know that 10 paintings of the Car-icature series will be hanging at MacGillycuddy’s Designer Consignment, 128 Lonsdale, in North Vancouver. If you live here, go have a look. I’m going to!

And even as I write this, I just got a message from Miesje that she talked to also talked to Alyn Edwards the Collector car guy from the Vancouver Sun and he said he will be doing a story on Vintage car art and will include her! Connecting more dots! Woohoo!

So this to me is SO cool! I love this car, a great artist happens to paint it, and then a venue shows the painting. 3 people WIN! Now my intention is that she sells a bunch of these paintings, and the venue sells a bunch more clothing, we all win even more. I’m going to let the Universe take care of that details.

And in case you want to just listen to the sound of these British Babies, here’s a video I found. Man, I’m just stoked. Can you tell?
