One of Jackson’s hockey coaches has a great big convertible. His family looks like they’re having so much FUN, when they sow up at the rink. So I Googled $20,000 Red Convertible, and this baby with suicide doors came up. Another beautiful 1960 car, the year I was born (another good sign).

In the lovely house we’ve been living in since May, 2010, we have 6 bathrooms, and even one extra one in the downstairs apartment that we are basically using for storage. However, this home was actually renovated to be a bed and breakfast. So the bathrooms are not exactly luxurious.

Our boys have been getting drum lessons with my brother Shawn. I’m hoping he sees the advantages of giving lessons over Skype soon. Anyways, the boys really love drum lessons, and we’d love to have 2 kits. One electronic and one acoustic. It’ll take a PA to run the electronic one, and of course our drum/band room will need to be very soundproof.

There’s something about being a piano player that isn’t the same as being a guitar or horn player. We piano players can’t walk around with our instruments strapped on, practicing before gigs. I’ve always been a little envious of that. Then again, guitars can look pretty puny compared to a 12 foot grand.
