Hiromi’s Sonicbloom – Piano and Muse Lessons

Posted in For Your Entertainment

OMG, she just might be my favorite jazz pianist ever. The thing I like most about her, is that she reminds me of myself. Are humans always more inclined to enjoy things that remind them of themselves? I wonder. She has this wonderful smile, not about smiling for people. It’s the only way an attitude THAT PLAYFUL, could appear on one’s face. I mean c’mon, look at her. It’s like she’s having sex, or listening to GOD himself speak. I think I’m going to make a point of going to see her when she comes to town. And now that I’ve set that intention, I’m going to see if I can get some video of her as well when she does show up here.

I’ve listened to and learned from hundreds of piano players. Although I have loved so many, I rarely get to see them play without some kind of ego or posing thing. Even jazz cats that are seemingly attached at the hip to their muse, they still have a swagger. Some guys have to have that swagger working just right, for them to reach for the best note for the moment. This woman doesn’t seem to do that. She is living her bliss, and doesn’t seem all that concerned about trying to be cool. And that to me, is the very definition, of cool. sidenote: Does that mean that I have something deeper to learn about me, because this is what I’m noticing about her? More insights… hehe

Why hasn’t she landed on my radar? Oh yeah, I’ve been very busy trying to be a songwriter… Now I’m becoming an internet enterpreneur. I love that that’s a French word. It’s all good.

But this woman, is fantastic. I wish I could shake her hand and thank for becoming such a monster! The least I can do is talk about her to my friends.
