Now this is Dancing

Posted in For Your Entertainment

We’re getting a few comments suggesting that we should compile some of my dance moves.  Of course, in my younger days, I could dance.  I remember dropping from 175 to 160 lbs, when I was 18, and Michael Jackson’s, Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough came out.  I was an MJ freak.  I didn’t dress like him, but I really listened. And that was right after I left home, and started hanging out in the local dance club.  Oooh it was an awesome time in my life.

As the years flew by, I learned and enjoyed so much more great funk music, which has always been my favorite dance music.  (Country 2 steppin’ has run a very close second tho, since the ’90s.)

Here are my favorite funkmeisters.  Awesome doesn’t begin to describe how much I’ve enjoyed these 3 men’s talents.  They are the “triple threats” that actors could never be.   Singing, dancing, trend setting ARTISTS.  Legends in my mind.  Prince, MJ and JB.

WOW, I was just digging around, and this somehow caught my attention. Probably some cool James Brown gig somewhre in the early ’80s, and Michael and Prince both happened to be in the audience. I’m sitting here freaking out, just ’cause I love these 3 dudes so much. Video quality’s not so hot, but it’s amazing to see all three of them on the same stage. Now this would have been a band I’da killed someone to be in.
