I have always been on this strange and familiar quest of personal growth. And have landed on a great new insight that appears to be a new fork in the road. In fact, if you’ve been following me and Sue for a while, you probably even noticed this before I did.

I’m willing to admit that I’ve been carrying around guilty feelings about how much knowledge of internet business I DON’T have. Pretty much every effective bit of the hard work… the strategy, marketing and website building knowledge we’ve implemented, has been because Sue did it. I am a great “idea” guy, but I can’t say my ideas are more important than Sue’s either. And because of that, I’ve allowed myself to feel ineffective and unimportant to the success of our Sue and Steve Show because I don’t teach the knowledge like my wife, or our coach, John Assaraf, who work perfectly together as a team.

Last week, I realized more clearly that I am simply not the right guy to teach our clients in-depth strategies about internet marketing. And our clients are better off if I leave ALL of that to my absolutely dynamite business partner Sue. And she in turn, also values the more provocative questions I ask our private coaching clients because she knows they often spark an important shift in their mindset, & that actually HELPS people learn and implement Sue’s teachings. My strengths are really more about caring for people, helping them feel like they CAN do anything, and getting them through the temporary blocks we all face in learning a new career. Sue and I are having a great time with this, and we now sense how we compliment each other as a team. We have something quite unique in the internet marketing world. A teacher and a coach.

Our own internet business is also growing exponentially now as we reach out to other potential JV (joint venture) partners. And of course our private coaching business is flying fabulously. The private coaching thing has been awesome because it has given us both such a huge jolt of confidence in ourselves and connection to people we care about.

We’ve really been able to experience how much we can positively affect people, one on one, which is quite different from creating a group coaching program, doing webinars or doing videos. It feels risky, it feels immediate and it feels a bit like bungy jumping. And it feels GOOD!

I love what you and Sue do as coaches.  Because you both have your unique strengths, your coaching is holistic.  You care about the person and what’s going on in their lives as well as coaching them on their business.  You’ve given me great counseling that I’ve truly appreciated.
