This song is very special for our family. Sue’s father Sunny, left this world in April of 2008. He was a huge Bob Dylan fan, and we watched a wonderful montage about Sunny to this Bob Dylan version of this song. Sue also created a beautiful little film for her father, and that was her first or second attempt at making a home movie. It’s also beautiful and I hope some day we put it here on our site. Sue’s father was an amazing man. One of the most positive people I’ve ever met. Unfortunately, his positivity didn’t seem to extend to his battle with cancer, and he didn’t seem to want to fight it all that much. We all miss Sunny tremendously.

As much as I love Sunny, I still prefer Garth Brook’s version just because I like the singing more. I don’t mind if you tell us which version you prefer either. Sunny would understand.
