This video is about understanding that the people we disagree with, are here to teach us totally unique things that can only be taught by the experience of being around someone who is not EASY to get along with. We usually only understand what they’re here to teach us after an altercation… after we’re done with the face to face part. To be completely whole and open-minded, I think we need to be able to allow different points of view to exist along side our own without needing them to change. We rarely end up liking the people we force into changing, and they eventually won’t like us either. Sometimes it’s good to remember that feeling NOT GOOD, is as fabulous a teacher as any book or guru.

Whatever is bugging you, is about YOU. If you’re feeling irritated by something, it’s up to you to learn how NOT to let that bug you. It works way better than trying to get someone else to do what you think they should do.

That even describes one aspect of Sue and my relationship. We don’t always agree at all, but we know that we learn much more together than being apart.
