Winning a Grammy, or Winning At the Grammies?
7 Comments February 1, 2010 / Posted in Law of Attraction by Steve. Is winning a Grammy as important as blowing everybody away with your show at the Grammies? Which feels better? Which makes people more happy? And which entices fans to buy your music more?
Last night I watched with a much different perspective than I’ve had for 30 years. I was happy… even proud for the people who won. When people made their acceptance speeches, I felt love towards them because I have come to realize what it takes for them to “get there,” as opposed to my old limited perspective feeling like, “I could do that.” When people thank God for their success, I finally KNOW that feeling. For years I only felt cynicism when I heard people getting all thankful. I can’t begin to tell you what a relief that is for me, to feel thankful inside, for my own personal growth instead of pessimistic about what those artists and musos get to experience.
These 3 performances brought me to tears. I feel completely blessed by my own understanding and appreciation of their craft. These artists worked a lifetime to become FABULOUS and FAMOUS.

Not everyone will agree with me (including Sue), that these were as FANtastic as I think. But I know Sue would agree with me about this one personal AHA moment I’d like to share.
I’ve played music in front of people for 40 years and always lamented that I haven’t yet been involved with artists who perform on the Grammies. In fact, one of my most vivid dreams has been to WIN a Grammy. I haven’t had a clue HOW that could happen, but I’ve always known it would be about change. After watching last night, I have a new realization that what we (Sue and I) are bringing to the world… is every bit as valuable and we could start sharing it with artists. We are transforming from ordinary to extraordinary.
We’re willing to invite, accept, join and travel with ANYONE who wants to learn. It’s not that we know anymore than anyone else… but I can guarantee you we expect to be as successful at becoming enlightened millionaires, as anyone who’s ever dreamed it!
I Dee Dog Double Dare you to team up with us for a few years. We’d love to have a few thousand new friends for the rest of our lives.

I’ll agree with you on how fantastic they were! I loved the performances. I thought it was an excellent show. I’m also with you on the goal to win a Grammy

Just loved this post Steve, can’t begin to tell you how much I relate. For so long I’ve watched as people show their gratitude after winning their goals and used to feel a bit of a “I’m uncomfortable” moment and yes, even turned channels or sniggered at times I’m afraid to say. But now, as I travel along a similar path to you guys I’m learning everyday to be thankful for whats already in my life as I know with absolute certainty I’ve manifested this and excited and thankful about the vibes my intentions for all I’m bringing into my life are giving me. I’m just so darn grateful for it all & very excited about the future!

A big congratulations on The Millionaire Affair, I’m on the other side of the world (Australia) than you and Sue, so I get to start some mornings with you guys. Loving it. Thank you so much for all your doing. (OK, I’m getting gushy now..!!)
Cheers
Sue
I thought the performances I saw this year were of a higher calibur than recent years. The artists really put forth a massive effort to make their appearances spectacular.
You guys are doing a wonderful thing and Steve… that Grammy may still be within your reach. I’d like to think so… I’ve had a similar dream about an Oscar since I was 5. I finally got to see one in person last year and I was so excited! I sent a photo of it to a bunch of my close friends… and wanted to talk to them about what an amazing experience it was to see one… up close. No one understood, but 2 people in my life allowed me to go on (and on and on) about it. I learned that sometimes the experience isn’t about what you think it will be about.
Perhaps you are looking to make a difference in the lives of others through your art… well, having attended the Millionaire Affair, I can say you are already doing it. If I had a Grammy or other award to give, it would be to you and Sue for the inspiration you are generating in this community. The ripple effect will be incredible.
I didn’t see the Grammies but I really liked what Sue Johnston had to say. Pretty much sums it up for me.
I liked your comments on the Grammys. I have been following your Millionaire Affaire series, but I have missed several of them due to scheduling conflicts. It was nice to get the email today with the recorded links to previous shows. Great stuff. Good luck with your adventure!
Steve,
I ALREADY have won a Grammy – I’m just waiting on the universe to bring it to me!
:>)
I really have envisioned my name being announced, going up the stage, thanking my Wife, Daughter family, friends, and Sue and Steve!!
Next year for sure!
Thanks!
Dave
