Yes here’s my response to the ‘Tractor as Drummer,’ video. Sooner or later I’ll use the audio from this li’l vignette and make a song with it. Should be fun, and weird.

I remember as a teenager/musician, we used to compare the sounds that different cars’ dashboards would make (back when dashboards were metal) when you use them as drums. We all played whatever sounds we could. I even remember this one guy (a drummer) who used to encourage me to play rhythms on anything, so that he could respond to me. Kind of like a drum circle, only we’d whack anything that made cool sounds.

Music has always been about what people do together to me. That’s where my magic lives.
